IVsExtensionRepositoryQuery<T>.ExecuteAsync Method (Object)

Asynchronously executes an IVsExtensionRepositoryQuery<T> query.

Parameters

  • state
    Type: System.Object

    An object that contains user state information.

Remarks

Although this API supports the Extension Manager infrastructure, we recommend that you do not use it because it is subject to change.

Use this method to get information about available extensions from the extension repository service. For more information, see IVsExtensionRepositoryQuery<T>.

The state parameter may contain information such as the current page that is displayed in the user's extension list. The state parameter must be unique.
