How to adjust the zoom setting in the emulator for Windows Phone 8

You can change the size of the emulator on the host computer screen. The dots per inch (DPI) for the emulator is based on the host monitor DPI, regardless of the zoom value.

Changing the zoom setting
The zoom feature lets you set the size of Windows Phone Emulator on the host screen at the desired percent. A zoom setting of 100 percent indicates the maximum resolution of the emulator.
To change the zoom setting
On the emulator toolbar, click the zoom button. The Zoom dialog box opens.
In the Zoom dialog box, enter a zoom value between 33 and 100.

On the emulator toolbar, click the fit to screen button.
