Placing Information in Escrow

It may be altered or unavailable in subsequent versions. Instead, use Active Directory Rights Management Services SDK 2.1, which leverages functionality exposed by the client in Msipc.dll.]

We recommend that you place the following information with a neutral party to ensure its continuity and availability throughout the various stages of product development:

  • Application threat model
  • Documentation of testing scope
  • Test suite
  • Application manifest
  • Product source code
Standard level Description
Minimum standard You must be able to recompile the released application at any time after its release. This requires that you maintain the ability to re-create the application build environment.
