ISpRecognizer3::GetActiveCategory

New in SAPI 5.4

ISpRecognizer3::GetActiveCategory gets the currently active recognizer category.

Parameters

  • ppCategory
    [out] A pointer to a memory location that contains the address of an ISpRecoCategory instance.

Remarks

A value of NULL for **ppCategory indicates that the recognizer is in both command and dictation mode. That is, the recognizer waits for either dictation (free text) or a command such as "start Notepad."
