Setting Initial Passwords
During the outbound synchronization step of the Forefront Identity Manager Synchronization Service (FIM Synchronization Service) synchronization process, a value for the password attribute may be required to process a new account. You can implement the Provision method in a FIM Synchronization Service database (metaverse) rules extension to create and assign the initial password.
