System Settings
5/10/2007
You can change the default system settings for your run-time image. These settings include computer name, workgroup membership, pagefile support, and power management.
If these values are left blank, during the FBA process a unique computer name will be assigned to the device, and additional default values will be used for your system settings.
The following list shows the System Identification values that are configured in one of the following Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) components. These values depend on the base hardware of your device:
- ACPI Multiprocessor PC
- ACPI Uniprocessor PC
- Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) PC
- Compaq SystemPro Multiprocessor or 100% Compatible
- MPS Multiprocessor PC
- MPS Uniprocessor PC
- Standard PC
Within each of these components you can change the system identification, pagefile settings, or power management settings.
