Uninstalling the SDI Driver

If you do not require SDI functionality, you can remove the SDI Drivers from your development system. For more information, see System Deployment Image.

To uninstall the SDI Driver

  1. Open the Device Manager.

  2. Expand the System Devices node.

  3. Right-click Storage Device Image Driver, and then choose Uninstall.

  4. Choose OK.

  5. Exit the Device Manager.

  6. Restart your computer.

  7. Manually delete Sdi.sys from the Windows\System32\Drivers folder.

  1. Open the Device Manager.

  2. Expand the System Devices node.

  3. Right-click Storage Device Image Driver, and then choose Uninstall.

  4. Choose OK.

  5. Exit the Device Manager.

  6. Restart your computer.

  7. Manually delete Sdi.sys from the Windows\System32\Drivers folder.
