ICcConnection::RegistyQueryValue (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

This method queries for a registry value.

In Windows Embedded CE 6.0, CoreCon HLAPI has been deprecated.

Syntax

HRESULT RegistryQueryValue(
  LONG hKey,
  LPCOLESTR lpSubKey,
  LPCOLESTR lpValueName,
  DWORD dwType,
  WCHAR[]lpValue,
  LONG* pcbValue
);

Parameters

• hKey
  [in] Base key to search for the value.

• lpSubKey
  [in] Subkey to search the value.

• lpValueName
  [in] Value to query.

• dwType
  [in] Value type to query.

• lpValue
  [out] Buffer to return value in.

• pcbValue
  [in, out] Length of value returned.

Return Value

If the method fails, it returns an HRESULT error code.
