A RNDIS device transfers NDIS packets, encapsulated as REMOTE_NDIS_PACKET_MSG structures across the data channel. The bus used by the host determines how these packets are passed from host to device and from device to host. RNDIS data packets may also contain out of band data as well as the data that goes across the network.
