Platform Builder Menus (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

After you have installed Platform Builder for Windows Embedded CE 6.0, several new or modified menus are created in the Visual Studio IDE. You can use these menus to work with OS designs and subprojects. For information about menus specific to Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, see the Visual Studio documentation.
- File Menu Options
The options on the File menu enable you to work with OS designs.
- Edit Menu Options
The options available from the Edit menu enable you to work with files and source code.
- View Menu Options
The options on the View menu enable you to work with source files and the IDE itself.
- Project Menu Options
The options on the Project menu enable you to work with subprojects.
- Target Menu Options
The options on the Target menu enable you to download a run-time image to a target device for debugging and testing.
- Build Menu Options
The options on the Build menu enable you to work with existing OS designs and subprojects.
- Debug Menu Options
The options on the Debug menu enable you to perform debugging and testing of OS designs and subprojects.
- Target Menu Options
The options on the Target menu enable you to download to a target device.
Tools Menu Options
The options on the Tools menu enable you to use remote tools and macros to work with OS designs that you created.You can also configure the Tools toolbar and the IDE.
- Window Menu Options
The options on the Window menu enable you to work with the windows that you can create in the Visual Studio IDE.
- Community Menu Options
The options on the Community menu enable you to send feedback and to access additional resources outside of the Visual Studio IDE.
- Help Menu Options
The options on the Help menu enable you to work with the Help documentation available in the Visual Studio IDE.
