Supporting KITL in an OS Design (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

1/6/2010

The Kernel Independent Transport Layer (KITL) provides a hardware-independent mechanism for communication between the development workstation and a target device. For more information about KITL, see Kernel Independent Transport Layer.

To support KITL in an OS design

  1. From the Project menu, choose Properties.

The OS Design Property Pages dialog box appears.

  2. In the left pane, choose Configuration Properties, and then choose Build Options.

  3. Select the Enable KITL (no IMGNOKITL=1) check box and then choose OK.

You must now build the run-time image to add support for KITL. For more information, see Building a Run-Time Image.
