Socket Service Functions (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

The following table shows the socket service functions.

Programming element	Description
SS_GetPowerEntry	This function retrieves the supported power entry for a specified socket. It is used by card services.
SS_GetSocket	This function retrieves current socket states.
SS_GetWindow	This function retrieves window mapping.
SS_InquireSocket	This function retrieves the socket information structure SS_SOCKET_INFO.
SS_InquireWindow	This function queries a socket windows. It is used by PC Card services.
SS_ResetSocket	This function resets only cards that has been inserted after the power is turned on.
SS_SetSocket	This functionsets or changes the socket state.
SS_SetWindow	This function sets window mapping.
SS_TranslateBusAddr	This function provides a PC Card address to translate to a system address. It is used by PC Card services to.
SS_TranslateSystemAddr	This function translates a system address to a PC Card address.
