FONT XHTML Element (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

The FONT element specifies a new font, size, and color to be used for rendering the enclosed text. This element requires a closing tag.

Using this Element

Attributes

The following table shows items that Internet Explorer Embedded supports.

COLOR

Special

Sets the color for rendered text. Font colors are disabled on grayscale devices; text is always rendered in black.

This attribute is equivalent to the CSS:

color: {color};

FACE

Special

Specifies a comma-separated list of font names in which the text is rendered.

This attribute is equivalent to the CSS:

font-family: {font};

SIZE

1...7

3 (default)

Specifies an integer font size — can also be a relative font size with a signed integer value, size="+1", or size="-2". This is mapped to an absolute font size by adding the current BASEFONT XHTML Element SIZE attribute.

This attribute is equivalent to the CSS:

font-size: {font};
