IPin::QueryPinInfo (Compact 2013)

This method retrieves information about the pin.
Syntax
HRESULT QueryPinInfo(
PIN_INFO* pInfo
);
Parameters
- pInfo
[out] Pointer to a PIN_INFO structure that specifies the name of the pin, a pointer to an IBaseFilter interface on its owning filter, and the direction of the pin.
Return Value
Returns an HRESULT value that depends on the implementation.
HRESULT can be one of the following standard constants, or other values not listed.

Remarks
Unlike the pin name in the IPin::QueryId method, which is used by the filter graph manager, the name in the PIN_INFO structure is intended to be read by users.
On return, the pFilter member of PIN_INFO has an outstanding reference count if it is non-NULL, and therefore should be released when the interface is no longer needed.
