WNetConnectionDialog1 (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

This function brings up a general browsing dialog for connecting to network resources.

Syntax

DWORD WNetConnectionDialog1(
  LPCONNECTDLGSTRUCT lpConnectDlgStruct 
);

Parameters

  • lpConnectDlgStruct
    [in] Long pointer to the CONNECTDLGSTRUCT structure, which establishes the browsing dialog parameters.

Return Value

ERROR_SUCCESS indicates success.

0xFFFFFFFF indicates that there was a graphical user interface (GUI) error, for example, that the user canceled the dialog box. To get extended error information, call GetLastError.

Remarks

The dwDevNummember of the CONNECTDLGSTRUCT structure pointed to by the lpConnectDlgStruc parameter is ignored.

The dwFlags member of the CONNECTDLGSTRUCT can be either CONNDLG_RO_PATH or 0.

This function calls ConnectionDialog to display a dialog box that allows a user to connect to a network resource.
