IAMMediaContentEx::MediaParameterName (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

This method returns a name for a given parameter index and entry number. You can use this method to retrieve named entries in an ASX files, as well as named entries for each playlist item.

Syntax

HRESULT MediaParameterName(
  long EntryNum,
  long Index,
  BSTR* pbstrName
);

Parameters

  • EntryNum
    [in] Number of the entry in the ASX file containing the parameter being sought.
  • Index
    [in] Index number of the parameter being sought. If EntryNum is 0, the value in Index refers to the overall ASX file. If EntryNum is nonzero, the value in Index refers to a specific entry in the ASX file.
  • pbstrName
    [out] Name of the parameter identified by EntryNum and Index.

Return Value

Returns an HRESULT value.

Requirements

Windows Embedded CE Windows CE 2.12 and later
Note Microsoft DirectShow applications and DirectShow filters have different include file and Library requirements
