RIL_SetCurrentAddressId (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)
1/6/2010
This function sets the current or default address identification for devices that support multiple device addresses. This address ID is used for subsequent outgoing calls as well as for line specific settings, such as call forwarding.
Syntax
HRESULT RIL_SetCurrentAddressId(
HRIL hRil,
DWORD dwAddressId
);
Parameters
- hRil
Handle to the RIL instance returned by RIL_Initialize.
- dwAddressId
Specifies the new current address ID. This value must be a valid address ID from a RILSUBSCRIBERINFO structure returned by RIL_GetSubscriberNumbers.
Return Value
Positive HRESULT values indicate success and are used as command identifications for matching the asynchronous call result. Negative HRESULT values indicate an error. Errors are defined in the Ril.h file.
An asynchronous result of RIL_RESULT_OK indicates success. The lpData notification parameter is set to NULL.
Remarks
This function is used in alternate line support (ALS) scenarios to set the current line to be used for outgoing calls as well as for line related settings.
The RIL proxy translates the RIL_SetCurrentAddressID function into IOCTL_RIL_SetCurrentAddressID when the RIL proxy calls RIL_IOControl.
