This function adds a child element.

Syntax

HRESULT STDAPI WSDXMLAddChild(
  WSDXML_ELEMENT* pParent,
  WSDXML_ELEMENT* pChild
);

Parameters

  • pParent
    Reference to a WSDXML_ELEMENT structure that contains the parent element.
  • pChild
    Reference to a WSDXML_ELEMENT structure that contains the child element.

Return Value

The following table shows the possible error code return values.

Error Code

Description

S_OK

The function succeeded.

E_INVALIDORG

pParent is NULL, pChild is NULL, pChild already has a parent, or a sibling could not be added to an existing child of pParent.
