IRTCProfile::Key (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

This method gets the key that uniquely identifies this profile.

Syntax

HRESULT get_Key(
  BSTR* pbstrKey
);

Parameters

  • pbstrKey
    [out] Pointer to a BSTR that will be filled with the key, or an empty string if there is no entry. The method is responsible for allocating the buffer. The caller is responsible for releasing this memory with SysFreeString.

Return Value

This method can return an RTC_E_ constant.

Remarks

The key uniquely identifies a profile. If the profile is enabled with the same key value as an existing profile, the existing profile is replaced with the one entered in IRTCClientProvisioning::EnableProfile.
