IXRResourceDictionary::GetItem (Compact 2013)
3/28/2014
This method retrieves the item with the specified key name.
Syntax
virtual HRESULT STDMETHODCALLTYPE GetItem(
__in const WCHAR* pKey,
__out IXRDependencyObject** ppValue
) = 0;
Parameters
- pKey
[in] Key name of the resource to retrieve.
- ppValue
[out] Pointer to an IXRDependencyObject pointer that references the retrieved object.
Return Value
Returns an HRESULT that indicates success or failure.
Remarks
The key name of a resource is defined in XAML with the x:Key attribute before your application parses and loads the XAML.
You can set the key name at run time by passing a key name to the IXRResourceDictionary::Add method.
To use a specific interface pointer type, use the helper template version of this method that XAML for Windows Embedded provides. When you supply a derived type, this version automatically supplies a type-safe method that implicitly converts the returned type from a generic interface, so you do not have to explicitly call QueryInterface to convert the generic interface into the required object type.
.NET Framework Equivalent
System.Windows.ResourceDictionary.Item
