IXRBrush::GetRelativeTransform (Compact 2013)

3/28/2014

This method retrieves the transformation that is applied to this brush by using relative coordinates.

Syntax

virtual HRESULT STDMETHODCALLTYPE GetRelativeTransform(
    IXRTransform** ppRelativeTransform
) = 0;

Parameters

  • ppRelativeTransform
    [out] Address of a pointer to an IXRTransform object that describes the transformation that is applied to this brush and that uses relative coordinates.

Return Value

Returns an HRESULT that indicates success or failure.

Remarks

This method is especially useful when you want to rotate, skew, or otherwise transform a brush about its center, and you do not know the size of the area painted with the brush, or you are using the same brush to paint different areas with different sizes.

To use a specific interface pointer type, you can use the helper template version of this method that XAML for Windows Embedded provides. When you supply a derived type, this version automatically supplies a type-safe method that implicitly converts the returned type from a generic interface so you do not have to explicitly call QueryInterface to convert the generic interface into the required object type.

.NET Framework Equivalent
