Remote Tools Shell: Connection Menu Options (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

The options on the Connection menu enable you to connect and disconnect devices and manage their properties.

The following options are available.

Command	Description
Connect Selected Device	Connects the selected device. Note: All plug-ins that were previously connected to the same device and still appear in the main tool window will be connected, if possible. This option is enabled only if the currently selected node is a plug-in node and the associated device is currently disconnected.
Disconnect Selected Device	Disconnects the device associated with the selected plug-in node. Note: All plug-ins connected to the device will also be disconnected. This option is enabled only if the currently selected node is a plug-in node.
Manage Devices	Configures the connectivity settings for each device.

Connect Selected Device

Connects the selected device.

Note:

All plug-ins that were previously connected to the same device and still appear in the main tool window will be connected, if possible.

This option is enabled only if the currently selected node is a plug-in node and the associated device is currently disconnected.

Disconnect Selected Device

Disconnects the device associated with the selected plug-in node.

Note:

All plug-ins connected to the device will also be disconnected.

This option is enabled only if the currently selected node is a plug-in node.

Manage Devices

Configures the connectivity settings for each device.
