Viewing the List of Plug-ins (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

1/6/2010

When the Plug-in Explorer is displaying multiple plug-ins, you can modify the way that the list of plug-ins is displayed, and you can also sort the list of plug-ins.

Note

If the Plug-in Explorer determines that two or more plug-ins have duplicate GUIDs, and then the names of the plug-ins appear in red. These plug-ins cannot be launched in the Remote Tools Shell. To resolve the issue of duplicate GUIDs, either remove them from the directory where they are located, or remove the path containing one or more of the affected plug-ins from the list of locations that the Plug-in Explorer searches. For more information about modifying the search path, see Configuring Search Locations for Plug-ins.

To view the list of plug-ins

  1. You can modify the way that the list of devices and plug-ins is displayed in the Plug-in Explorer window by selecting a node in the left pane, and then from the context menu, selecting one or more of the following options.

    • Hierarchy (Autosizing)

For information about these options, see Context Menu Options in Plug-in Explorer.
