SipSetDefaultRect (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

This function sets the default size and position of the software-based input panel window.

Syntax

BOOL SipSetDefaultRect( 
  RECT* pRect
);

Parameters

  • pRect
    [in] Pointer to a RECT structure.

Return Value

TRUE indicates success. FALSE indicates failure. To get extended error information, call GetLastError.

Remarks

The default size and position do not take effect until the application loads a new IM.

This function does not require that the software-based input panel environment be loaded in order to complete successfully. Therefore, a call to SipSetDefaultRect does not initialize the software-based input panel environment. The software-based input panel environment is initialized by the first function called that needs a loaded input environment. All software-based input panel functions initialize the software-based input panel environment except SipEnumIM, SipStatus, SipSetDefaultRect, and SipRegisterNotification.
