Command-Line Parameters for the Smart Card Reader Test (IFDTest2) (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

1/6/2010

Applies to Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R2

This test verifies the functionality of a smart card reader by performing IFDTest2, which is the second version of the PC/SC Workgroup's Interface Device test suite. For more information about the IFDTest2, see the PC/SC Workgroup Web site.

Syntax

tux.exe [tuxparams] -d ifdtesttux.dll -x 1000-1004 [-c "[-o] [-w seconds]"]

Command-line parameters

Command-line parameter Description

tux.exe tuxparams

For information about the command-line parameters of the Tux test harness, see Tux Command-Line Parameters.

-d ifdtesttux.dll

Specifies the DLL to use for the Smart Card Reader Test.

-c ""

Specifies a list of test-specific parameters that Tux passes to the test DLL.

-x TestCaseID(s)

Specifies the test case(s) to run

-o

Configures the Card Protocol Tests (ID: 1003).

Specifies testing with only the first inserted card. This one-card version of the test is also known as "AutoIFD".

If you do not specify this parameter, the test uses all five cards of the "PC/SC Test Cards v. 2.0" card set during the execution of this test, and the test of each card must pass.

Ee505812.note(en-US,WinEmbedded.60).gifNote:
Performing the full IFDTest2 test suite requires the use of all five test cards. Therefore, do not specify this parameter when running the full IFDTest2 suite. To run the full test suite, use the following command: tux.exe -d ifdtesttux.dll -x 1000-1004 as shown in the syntax block above.

-w seconds

Configures Part E: Smart Card Reader Power Management Test of the IFDTest2 test suite (Test ID: 1004).

Specifies the number of seconds to wait before the test suspends the system. For more information, see Running the Smart Card Reader Test (IFDTest2).
