IAMMediaContent2::get_MediaParameter (Compact 2013)

This method retrieves the value of a custom parameter in the ASX file.

Syntax

HRESULT get_MediaParameter(
  long  EntryNum,
  BSTR  bstrName,
  BSTR *pbstrValue
);

Parameters

• EntryNum
  [in] Specifies the location of the parameter in the ASX file.

  Zero specifies that the parameter is a direct child of the ASX node.

  One or greater specifies the one-based index of the ENTRY tag containing the parameter.

• bstrName
  [in] Specifies the name of the parameter.

• pbstrValue
  [out] Pointer to a BSTR variable which will return the desired media parameter.

Return Values

If the method succeeds, it returns S_OK. If it fails, it returns an HRESULT error code.

Remarks

The caller must release the BSTR returned in pbstrValue, by calling SysFreeString.
