Callout Driver Callout Functions (Compact 7)

This section describes the callout functions that are implemented by a callout driver, and initiated by a call from the WFP Filter Engine.

In This Section

  • classifyFn
    Called whenever data must be processed by the callout
  • completionFn
    Called whenever packet data, described by the netBufferList parameter in one of the packet injection functions, has been injected into the network stack
  • flowDeleteFn
    Called to notify the callout that a data flow being processed by the callout is being ended
  • notifyFn
    Called to notify the callout driver about events that are associated with the callout
