Platform Builder provides options for customizing the build of a Windows Embedded Compact 2013 OS design. Customizing the build can result in faster build times and enables batch builds of multiple configurations. Other types of available build customizations include targeted builds, OS design configurations, and build options such as changing the number of processor cores to use during a build.
