Automatic Detection of Docking for Serial Ports

To support automatic detection of docking events for removable serial port hardware, serial port drivers can monitor the Data Carrier Detected (DCD) line. When the serial port driver detects a positive DCD transition, it can use CeEventHasOccurred with the NOTIFICATION_EVENT_RS232_DETECTED message to indicate the DCD event. Some platforms that support Direct Cable Connect synchronization services will start the synchronization services when this event occurs.

See %_WINCEROOT%\Public\Common\Oak\Drivers\Serial\2890_ser\2890_ser.c for an example of detecting the DCD transition and generating this message.
