IDirectDraw4::GetVerticalBlankStatus

This method retrieves the status of the vertical blank.

HRESULT GetVerticalBlankStatus(
  LPBOOL lpbIsInVB
);

Parameters

  • lpbIsInVB
    Address of the variable that will be filled with the status of the vertical blank. This parameter is TRUE if a vertical blank is occurring, and FALSE otherwise.

Return Values

If the method succeeds, the return value is DD_OK.

If the method fails, the return value may be one of the following error values:

DDERR_INVALIDOBJECT
DDERR_INVALIDPARAMS

Remarks

To synchronize with the vertical blank, use the IDirectDraw4::WaitForVerticalBlank method.

Requirements

OS Versions: Windows CE 2.12 and later. Version 2.12 requires DXPAK 1.0 or later.
