How to Build a Multilingual Platform Using MUI
Windows CE .NET includes the Multilingual User Interface (MUI) feature. MUI allows users to change the language of the user interface on a Windows CE-based device.
You can use the MUI feature to create a single platform for multiple target languages and markets. This document provides detailed steps about how to create a multilingual Enterprise Web Pad configuration. You will create a platform that allows users to switch the User Interface between English and French. This document uses French and English as an example, but you can also select other languages. Because many CEPCs do not include a soft reset button, this scenario uses the Emulator as the reference platform.
If you want to build a multilingual image that includes an East Asian locale, see MUI Locale Considerations for more information.
