Storing Data from OSCapture.exe in a Log File

At any time while the OSCapture.exe application runs on a target device, you can instruct OSCapture.exe to store the data currently buffered in RAM to a log file. The following procedure shows several ways to store the data to a log file.

To store data from OSCapture.exe in a log file

  • On the target device, run the oscapture.exe -c command.

    - or -

    For a display-based target device, from the Windows CE desktop, open the Capture Recent Activity shortcut.

    - or -

    On the target device, have an application call the SetEvent function on the event named SYSTEM/OSCaptureTrigger.
