CSourcePosition::get_Duration

Retrieves the total duration of the media stream.

HRESULT get_Duration(
  REFTIME* plength 
);

Parameters

  • plength
    Returned length of the media stream.

Return Values

Returns E_POINTER if pLength is invalid. Otherwise, returns S_OK.

Remarks

The duration assumes normal playback speed; it is therefore unaffected by the rate.

Requirements

DirectShow applications and DirectShow filters have different include file and link library requirements. See Setting Up the Build Environment for more information.

OS Versions: Windows CE 2.12 and later. Version 2.12 requires DXPAK 1.0 or later.
