CreatePartition

This function creates a partition on the store and marks the partition with the default file system. The profile for the store in the registry defines the default file system.

  HANDLE hStore,
  LPCTSTR szPartitionName,
  SECTORNUM snNumSectors
);

Parameters

  • hStore
    [in] Handle to the store returned from OpenStore.
  • szPartitionName
    [in] Name of the partition.
  • snNumSectors
    [in] 64-bit number indicating the size of the partition

Return Values

Returns TRUE if successful, otherwise FALSE.

Requirements

OS Versions: Windows CE .NET 4.0 and later.
Header: Storemgr.h.
