Modifying Emulation Settings for an SDK
To include support for the Emulator in an SDK, you must include the board support package (BSP) for the Emulator in your platform.
Note Before you build an SDK that includes support for the Emulator, you must build an Nk.bin file, or OS image, for the Emulator. For more information, see Build Phases.
To modify emulation settings for an SDK
From the Platform menu, choose Configure SDK.
This will start the Export SDK Wizard if it has not been run previously for the current platform. For more information about using the Export SDK Wizard, see Exporting an SDK.
Choose the Emulation tab.
In the Emulation Image box, choose whether you want a release or debug OS image for the Emulator in the SDK.

If you want to allow an application developer to map a port from the Emulator to an Ethernet card on the application developer's workstation, select the Ethernet Support check box.

If you want to allow an application developer to map ports from the Emulator to physical ports on the application developer's workstation, select the Ports Available to be Configured check box.

In the Memory (MB) box, type or select the amount of memory that you want to allocate to the Emulator on the application developer's workstation.
If the Emulator is not using an Emulator skin, choose Fixed screen resolution, and then set the size of the Emulator window and the color depth.

Choose Emulator skins, choose Add, select a directory containing the .xml file for the Emulator skin, and then choose OK.

Choose OK.
