IRTCProfile::ProviderName

This method gets the name of the provider for this profile.

HRESULT get_ProviderName(
  BSTR* pbstrName
);

Parameters

  • pbstrName
    [out] Pointer to a BSTR that will be filled with the provider name, or an empty string if there is no entry. The method is responsible for allocating the buffer. The caller is responsible for releasing this memory with SysFreeString.

Return Values

This method can return an RTC_E_ constant. The following table shows the possible return values.

Value Description
E_FAIL No provider name was found.

Remarks

The provider name is an optional field in the profile. If the field is not present in the profile, the method will return E_FAIL.
