getNamedItemNS method

Gets an IHTMLDOMAttribute object that is specified with the IHTMLDOMAttribute2::name property and namespace, by using the IHTMLAttributeCollection interface.

 

Syntax

HRESULT retVal = object.getNamedItemNS(pvarNS, bstrname, newretNode);

Parameters

  • pvarNS [in]
    Type: VARIANT

    The namespace name of the attribute to get.

  • bstrname [in]
    Type: BSTR

    The local name of the desired attribute within the specified namespace.

  • newretNode [out, retval]
    Type: IHTMLDOMAttribute

    Returns the address of a pointer to a IHTMLDOMAttribute object with the specified name.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
