Enable or disable target journaling

Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with SP2

To enable or disable target journaling

  1. Open Computer Management.

  2. In the console tree, right-click the applicable queue.

    Where?

    • Computer Management/Services and Applications/Message Queuing/YourQueueFolder (Public Queues or Private Queues)/YourQueue
  3. Click Properties.

  4. On the General page, in Journal, select the Enabled check box. Or, to disable target journaling for the queue, clear the Enabled check box.

Notes

  • To open Computer Management, right-click My Computer, and then click Manage.

  • Target journaling is enabled or disabled on a queue basis.

  • You can also perform this task using the Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in. For more information, see Related Topics.
