Assign an application group to a role
Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with SP2
To assign an application group to a role
Open Authorization Manager.
In the console tree, right-click the role to which you want to assign the application group, and then click Assign Application Groups. The role can be at the application or scope level.

In the Add Groups dialog box, select the check boxes next to the application groups that you want to add.
Notes
To open Authorization Manager, click Start, click Run, and then type: azman.msc
This is one of the most common Authorization Manager procedures for administrators.
