To set permissions for the Phone Book Service folder (NTFS only)
Open Windows Explorer.
Double-click the Program Files folder, right-click the Phone Book Service folder, and then click Properties.
At the bottom of the Security tab, click Advanced. Clear the Allow inheritable permissions from the parent to propagate to this object and all child objects. check box.
In the Security dialog box, click Remove.
Click Add, type the name of the user or group to which you are granting posting permissions, and then click OK.
In the Permissions list, select the appropriate check boxes.
Click OK for the server to register the changes.
Notes
To perform this procedure, you must be a member of the Administrators group on the local computer, or you must have been delegated the appropriate authority. If the computer is joined to a domain, members of the Domain Admins group might be able to perform this procedure.
To open Windows Explorer, click Start, point to All programs, point to Accessories, and then click Windows Explorer.
Before anyone attempts to post to the server, verify that you have set the Write permission for the FTP virtual directory.
