Change queue labels

To change queue labels

Open Computer Management.
In the console tree, right-click the applicable queue.

Where?
- Computer Management/Services and Applications/Message Queuing/YourQueueFolder (Public Queues or Private Queues)/YourQueue
Click Properties.
On the General page, in Label, type the new label for the queue.

Notes

To open Computer Management, right-click My Computer, and then click Manage.
A queue label is a string with a maximum length of 124 Unicode characters that can be used to identify the queue. For example, queues that accept messages sent by a specific application may all have the label "Messages from my application."
