Queues

In the context of Message Queuing, queues are temporary storage locations for different types of messages. The following sections provide information about different types of queues that can be deployed in a messaging infrastructure. Queues can be created by applications and by Message Queuing. Queues created by applications or by administrators are referred to as application queues. Queues created by Message Queuing are known as system queues. For details, see the following links:
