Pause or resume printing all documents

To pause or resume printing all documents
To pause, or resume printing on the printer, you must have the Manage Printers permission, which is one of several printer permissions.
Open Printers and Faxes.
Right-click the printer for which you want to pause or resume printing, and then click Pause Printing.
When you pause printing, the document currently printing will finish, and then no documents will print until you resume printing.
A check mark appears next to Pause Printing when the printer is paused. To clear the check mark and resume printing, click Pause Printing again.
Notes
To open Printers and Faxes, click Start, and then click Printers and Faxes.
You can also open the print queue in Printers and Faxes by clicking a printer, and then clicking See what's printing under Tasks on the left side of the window. This option is available only if folders are set to look like a Web page and a printer is selected. For more information, click Related Topics.
