This section suggests ways to plan for and deploy Message Queuing in your organization. Planning and deployment options are included. The section on business scenarios provides simple overviews for deploying Message Queuing in different organizations. For details, see the following links:

  • For an overview of planning Message Queuing deployment, see Planning overview.

  • For information on licensing considerations for a Message Queuing network, see Licensing considerations.

  • A workgroup does not provide or have access to such a directory service, and can be run in an environment that is not part of a domain. For more information about workgroup deployment, see Deploying in workgroup mode.

  • Message Queuing 3.0 supports the sending of messages over HTTP. For more information on deploying in an Internet environment, see Internet deployment considerations.
