Edit a role definition
Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with SP2
To edit a role definition
Open Authorization Manager.
In the console tree, double-click the role definition that you want to edit. The role definition can be at the application or scope level.
Application level

- Authorization Manager/Authorization store/Application/Scope/Definitions/Role Definitions/Role definition
In the Definition Properties dialog box, modify the settings that you want to change.
Click the Definition tab, and then select any operations, tasks, roles, and authorization rules that you want to include.
Notes
To open Authorization Manager, click Start, click Run, and then type: azman.msc
To perform this procedure, you need to use an authorization store that contains an application, or both an application and a scope. For more information, see Related Topics.
