To set permissions on a Macintosh-accessible volume or folder
Open Computer Management.
In the console tree, click Shares.
Where?
- Computer Management/System Tools/Shared Folders/Shares
Right-click the volume or folder, and then click Properties.
On the Security tab, under Permissions, select the appropriate permissions.

- To open Computer Management, click Start, click Control Panel, double-click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Computer Management.
