Eject a tape or disk from a stand-alone drive

To eject a tape or disk from a stand-alone drive
Open Removable Storage.
In the console tree, double-click Libraries.
Right-click the applicable library, and then click Eject.

To complete this procedure, you need the appropriate administrative credentials for the affected Removable Storage item. To maintain system security, rather than logging in as an administrator, log in as a user without administrative credentials, and run Removable Storage as an administrator by right-clicking the Computer Management icon, clicking Run As, and choosing an account in the local Administrators group.
To open Removable Storage, click Start and then click Control Panel. Double-click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Computer Management. In the console tree, double-click Storage and then click Removable Storage.
