Create routing links

To create routing links
Open Active Directory Sites and Services.
On the View menu, click Show Services Node.
In the console tree, right-click MsmqServices.
Where?
- Active Directory Sites and Services/Services/MsmqServices
Point to New, and then click MSMQ Routing Link.
On the New Object - Routing Link dialog box, in Site 1 and in Site 2, click the arrows that open the lists and select the two sites between which you want to route messages.
In Routing Link Cost, enter a cost.
Notes
To open Active Directory Sites and Services, click Start, point to All Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Active Directory Sites and Services.
A routing link defines the route for connectivity between two sites. For more information on routing links, how they are used to route messages, and routing-link costs, see Related Topics.
Costs can range from 1 to 999999.
By default, users in the Enterprise Admins group and Domain Admins group can create or modify routing links. For information on how to set permissions for routing links, see Related Topics.
