Activity logging enables you to record user activity through Server for Network File System (NFS).

Resolve
Free system resources
Increase available system resources by closing all programs and stopping unnecessary services.
Note: To perform this procedure, you must have membership in Administrators, or you must have been delegated the appropriate authority.
To stop a service:
- Open the Services snap-in by clicking the Start button, Control Panel, and Administrative Tools, then double-clicking Services.
- In the details pane of the Services snap-in, right-click on the name of the service you want to stop and select Stop.
Verify
To verify that Server for NFS is properly configured for activity logging:
- Open a command prompt with elevated privileges. Click Start, point to All Programs, click Accessories, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator.
- Type nfsadmin server.
- Verify that the *Audit Log File Name *field displays the correct location of your log file.
