Use this procedure to view or change properties of queue aliases.

You can use this procedure to view or change properties of queue aliases.

Membership in <Domain>\Domain Users, or equivalent, is the minimum required to complete this procedure.

To view or change properties of queue aliases

1. Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Active Directory Users and Computers.

2. On the View menu, click Users, Groups, and Computers as containers, and then on the View menu, click Advanced Features.

3. In the console tree, click the applicable container.

   Where?

   • Active Directory Users and Computers/YourDomain/YourContainer (such as Computers or Domain Controllers)

4. In the details pane, double-click the applicable queue alias or right-click the queue alias, and then click Properties.

5. View or change the queue alias properties as needed.

Additional considerations

• The format name typed can be any public, private, or direct single-element format name. The validity of the format name typed and the existence of the queues to which the queue alias points are not checked during this procedure.
